hi all,
A quick question on screenshots!
I’ve noticed lots of you guys post great screenshots. Cristal clear images of different planes.
Mine always seem to miss something. The edges of the objects in my shots aren’t smooth, although I use trilinear buffering and ultra high detail level for the planes.
Whats wrong? Has it something to do with my videocard ( creative labs Gforce 4 - Ti4200, I might be a bit short in memory 250 mb) – or with the programs I use – Grabclip, found on simviation.
Any comments are welcome.

There are two different ways to approach this. The first is to turn your anti-aliasing on, especially turn it on in the video card and not the game. The second is to 'shoot' your screenshots at a higher resolution and resize them in a photo editor like Photoshop or Paintshop Pro...
For instance, here is a shot done at 800 X 600:
And here is one shot at 1280 X 1024 then resized to around 752 X 600:
Notice the smoother edges and better detail.
I'm going to move this to the screenshots forum, where the people who do screenshots more often will be able to pitch in. There is also a good posting by Rifleman explaining screenshots in detail. Check where to post before you post something!

do you have your AA clicked on in the game? That will make a huge difference in getting rid of the "jaggies".

is another good application recommended by Ramsa, the screenshot Guru of these forums!

He also recommended this to reduce the size without distorting it so much
Good point Pippen, I shoot at 1600x1200 and then resize to 800x600. They do seem to make a huge difference
If there is an airshow with in 2 states of me I'm there&&
