MY WINDOWS DONT SHOW IN GMAX! HEEEP!!!! (Read 200 times)

  Normally, when I open up Gmax, dor like 1 second it displays this random pixel thing and then goes away. I started Gmax today and it stayed like that! I even installed another version and it did that! PLEAAASSSEEE!!!!!!! HELPPPP!!!!!!   Cry  Cry  Cry

Ok heres what you do. Create a shortcut to Gmax on your desktop. Then right click on the icon and scroll down to properties. In the target box paste this line C:\gmax\gmax.exe -h
Click ok and fire up Gmax. You shall get a box saying Gmax driver options. Select OpenGL and click ok. If you still get the same problem restart Gmax and select a different option. Once its up and running simply remove the -h from the end of the target line in the shortcut and off you go! Grin

Just Because.... that's the command line switch that discreet (makers of gmax) decided to call.

Apparently that software switch overrides the driver configuration set in the software and brings up the configuration dialog box, allowing you to use between Heidi, OpenGL, and Direct3X<?>
