well golly, that there GT looks an awful lot like a FS F-14!
If I pay the GT price tag, can I have the F-14?

Isn't that model a left-over Ferrari design? I read it somewhere. Could have been about the original model.
Anywhay, whats up with reviving those old models. I live in 2004 and would like to see 2004 models. Almost like covers in music. Not my cup off tea.

I must say that the Ford GT is quite a bit bigger than the Ford GT40. This is becuase the Ford GT40 was a british design and they didn't foresee americans trying to fit into it. Hence they've magnified it a bit.
Even so, give me an Aston Martin anyday.

really, i would probably take it over a vanquish, similar price, yet the ford gt is a good bit faster, although i must say that the vanquish is by far the prettier car

Yep, it must be (it is...), as Jeremy Clarkson was driving the GT on Top Gear, and he doesn't fit in a real GT40...

No, I don't think it was. As Woody says it was designed by Ford in the UK after Ford tried to buy Ferrari but failed in the early sixties..

.........methinks you need to rename the file and reload it so it looks a bit less than an F-14 sittin ready on the "cat".....

Ford over an Aston Martin? Speed isn't everything!!! There is far more taste in an Aston than in any other type of car about. Given the money I would never spend in on a Ford GT. In fact, i'd probably buy a Bently Continental GT. Now there's a car.

Sorry but that is horrible:) It looks like a poorly cloned god knows what, too many holes in it. Then again each to their own i suppose. I like the Noble, a really nice Sports car. And if the interior of it wasn't so poorly designed and made of plastic, the new Mclaren Mercedes would be up there.

Sorry but that isn't too nice. Too many intakes. Would make a fine sieve though...
In my opinion Bentley is making the best looking cars these days.
To emphasise this:-
The Bentley Continental GT. (Voted best looking car of 2003.)
And the Bentley Hunaudieres. (Only a concept car but in my opinion absolutely fantastic.)
The Continental is in production and at 198mph is the fastest four seat coupe on the planet.
The Hunaudieres, although a concept, is capable of wiping the floor even with a Mclaren F1. Sadly I can no longer find the facts and figures about it on the Bentley website.

The nose of the first one is too flat. but quite nice.
The second one looks like a modded XJ220 with either raised wheel wells or a dropped front end. But not as nice. I dunno why i just dont like Bentley. I mean its a nice car, but i guess the price is way to high on most of them.

I have long been a muscle car fan, and usually liked the camaros over the mustang--except for a couple of '60s models, but the 2005 mustang is such a awesome blend of new and old that i think mustang has finally won me over--will probably buy--have owned 9 autos, but never a ford.
p.s. gt-40--was (for what it is-a race car) way ahead of its time, and just a remarkable auto.

The thing I like most about the Bentleys is this, look at them, not a spoiler in sight!

Isn't Aston Martin owned by Ford anyway?
I was reading at the weekend the Jaguar XJR-15 is going back into production, so I'll have one of those instead...
