Both Wendy and I went to Futureshop on Friday, and came home with new hard drives....we figured $80 plus tax was a pretty good price and jumped at it, although we do have to await our rebate cheques to bring the price down to the claimed numbers, but for 120 gigs of 7200rpm space ?....how could we turn it down ?...

Sunday was a day of fdisk/format/install/transferfiles....
its going to be an ongoing process till I dump my 17 gig drive to the new one, and move around a few of the files in my 40, so I can format that and partition it to useable size drives...........160 gigs of installed space....I guess I can keep a few planes in the hangar now.....

Good deal. Might pick one up during the week, then again I may not.

You're lucky. I bought a 60 gig hard drive last year thinking that would be big enough. WRONG!

I'm fighting to have 5 gigs free on it Embarrassed

It's almost all being used for Flightsim Shocked

i think a 40GB HDD is really sufficient. i've rarely got more than one third of it occupied by data.
