Bright and early I take off with some sleepy eyed wouldbe city fishermen out for an adventure headed to BFU Manitoba



It looks like its going to be an overcast day today. Maybe they will get lucky and not have to deal with freezing cold October rains. What do you think?











And as luck would have it, they get a break. Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of afternoon rains. With a little help of the dock hand, and a couple of fishermen, we get the Super Otter tied to the dock and ready to unload. Now to just send the fellas off with a bit of fishing luck.



Finally unloaded, coolers of Canadian brews, sandwiches, snacks, and I am now ready to head to the mom and pop greasy spoon atop the hill. Hey, don't knock it. They have the best omelets and coffee this side of a hibernating bear. You should try it some time. Just ask for Edith.



Now that I have about 8 hours to kill, methinks its time to take a nap, get the plane ready for the long trip back.

After a great breakfast, the fine folks of BFU Manitoba showed me their pride and joy, so as kind folks do, they took me out for a nice afternoon of boating while those that rented my plane are out fishing for something big...I would think. Oh the fish stories.
