Hi,  Grin

1) I was wondering if someone could recommend a good FS2002 military aircraft I could download.  I want a very realistic flight model, a good cockpit and good sound.  So far I have found one, the BAe HAWK by Mikko.  The one with the black and Grey model with the cool vitual cockpit.  It has a great sound package too Shocked. It is good but over 400kts it develops a bug and statrs oscillating like made ???  I have downloaded his latest HAWk and hopefully its ok   I was wondering if there are other good complete packages out there that don't fly unrealistic or need alot of setting up. (download size isnt an issue  Tongue

2) I play online with a friend, always just the two of us on a private IP game Wink  If we both have the identical addon aircraft (like the hawk for example) will be both show up on each others screens as hawks or will it default to a cessna or something.  I've heard of Z planes but its been over two or three years since I had a PC and forgot alot of things since then.

Thanks for any answers  8)

Welcome to SimV.
As fo rthe first question you should try the F-16 VIPER here at SimV. It is pretty popular as is evident in the freeware screenshot forum, lots of people using it and I have had no problems with it myself.
And the second question. As far as I know if you and your friend have the same aircraft then you should be able to see eachother as that aircraft and not a default.
I think you have to have your settings in the multiplayer settings set to send and recieve detailed aircraft information  or something like that. Anyways don't worry because someone will reply with a much more definitive answer before too long
Good luck.

Yeh, I seen the Viper and looks good, hopefully has some good sounds, I hate the default Learjet sound, maybe I can paste my HAWK sounds instead.  Anyone with Viper give me a short run down on it??

I've been flying DSB design's Tornado F3 and GR4 from this site http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military4.htm It flies very well in 2K2 except you can't use the autothrottle if you want to fly above 350. There's quite a few configurations and has arrestor hook too, a beautiful plane.

The Viper is, to date, the best freeware aircraft I've seen ANYWHERE.

And yes, if you've both got the airplane in your virtual hangar, you should see it no problem.

I think I'm gonna take my T-birds Viper up now, actually.  You've tempted me.

Great edit, Bob.&&&&&&Google it. &&&&www.google.com

Downloaded the Tornado, flies weel and looks good but has the cockpit and internal sounds of the Learjet, is that correct?

I was looking for a complete package download, maybe the Viper is a complete package.

I find this a common problem with freeware Brit planes...they always use the learjet panel, shame. I got the Tornado cockpit and panel from FS Planet it works better than the Learjet, but doesn't have radios. It has MFD with switchable radar, rear view mirrors etc.
