Okay, a question in the 2k2 boards gave me this idea.

What are your all time favorite and most recommended FREEWARE add-ons?

List the name, what it does, and the version you use it on. (Not the versions it handles, just what you use it on.)  I use 2002 Pro.

Here are some of mine, in no particular order:

1.  Project AI.  Creates realistic AI traffic using real liveries at various airports.

2.  Active Camera. Creates some impressive fly by's and approach views in tower mode.  Also lets you do a walk around preflight inspection of your aircraft.

3.  FSUIPC.  Just a good utility to have. Does more than I could possibly list here.

4.  Roger Wilco.  Voice chat client.  Lets you talk to ATC.

5.  SquawkBox.  ATC Client.  Lets you fly with live voice ATC on VATSIM.  (It's sort of an add on.  lol)

Any others?

The best Freeware addons for FS2002 as far as I'm concerned are TTools & AFCAD. Without these brilliant utilities PAI & many other improvements would not be possible. Thank you Lee Swordy for giving me countless hours of pleasure. Wink

I would also like to thank
David Leung for FSSC
Matthias Brückner for EOD
Manfred Moldenhauer for SCASM
Ed Struzynski for CfgEdit
Chuck Dome for all his little utilities

and the many other talented Freeware developers who have contributed to my enjoyment of this hobby over the last four years.

ooh I forgot about TTOOLS and Afcad, primarily because I only use their result (in PAI), and I don't work with them directly.

That's also true for things like the ones on your list, Hagar...I don't use them, but I do know from what I've heard others say about them that they are wonderful.

There are far too many to list. How could I forget my old friend Martin Wright?
Without him & others like him, my M$ sims would be sitting on the shelf & I would not be here. Wink
