Well after reading that Ozzy needed a "Warbird fix" I thought I'd try and help out. It's difficult to find any shots on my HD that I've not posted before so a couple of repeats here.
Photos of aircraft belonging to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. All taken by me
BBMF's Hurricane IIc LF363 shortly after its full rebuild. I took this shot (and the next one) by ducking outside the BBMF hanger during a tour back in 1997.
Spitfire MkIIa P7350, worlds oldest airworthy Spitfire.
Douglas DC3 (C-47) Dakota ZA947 at Duxford in 2002.
Squadron Leader Paul Day (OBE AFC) OC BBMF getting Spitfire LF MkIXe MK356 ready for a flypast outside the BBMF hanger at Coningsby.
Not really a BBMF aircraft this but it's an ex-BBMF plane. Spitfire PR MkXIX PS853 was sold off to pay for the rebuild of Hurricane LF363. This aircraft has been modified to take a Griffon engine from an Avro Shakleton.
Spitfire MkVb AB910 in its 2003 colour scheme posing as AB502 IR-G the personal mount of Wing Commander Ian R Gleed. Taken at Duxford's Flying Legends airshow.
Avro Lancaster B1 PA474, BBMF flagship, displaying at Waddington 2003.
Posing as a 152 Squadron (SEAC) MkXIV, BBMF's PR MkXIX PS915 at Flying Legends 2000.
Sorry for the poor quality of a couple of these but with my scanner bust I had to use old scanned versions of a couple of these from my HD rather than the good quality original photos.
