Florida Marlins defeat the Chicago Cubs on the 1st game at 9-8 on the 11th inning.

It was the closest game I have ever seen.

At first, the Marlins where losing. However, they managed to tie the game (for the moment)at 6-6. However, Sammy Sosa (Cubs) manages to break that tie (with a runner on 2nd base) with a homer thus making it 8-6 for the Cubs.

But fate had other plans. The Marlins, again, pulled a miracle out of their @5535 when they tied it again to 8-8 on the top-half of the 9th inning.

It was TTHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE closest game I have ever seen.

Then, Mike Lowell (Marlins)  broke the tie with a good @55 homer (with no one on base). Thus, making it 9-8 with Marlins in the lead.

Guys, did you see the crowd when they saw the Marlins won? OMG!! Their faces were as dead as a rock. They were so disappointed, that all of Chicago was silent. In fact, when a news reporter was talking, you can see the sad Cub fans walk by in the background. Only a few waved at the camera, but those waves were retarded in a way that it sent a clear message: "CR@P!!!!"

Anyways.....LET'S GO MARLINS. LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (clap, clap)

Oh, and lest you think I'm biased (I am ) that shortstop for the Marlins rocks!  He made 2 stops yesterday that were beyond belief!

Tonight at 8:00 PM Eastern Time, Game 2 of the Marlins and Cubs will begin.

For anyone who may consider taunting me over last night's loss to Boston, Mr. Steinbrenner called me early this morning and assured me that they're just giving Boston a little taste of success, because it's been so long since they've had any.

Looks like Game 2 belongs to the Cubs, this time. However, for those of you who are along-side the Cubs, don't celebrate just yet. Remember, this is just Game 2.

The Marlins may have lost this battle, but they will not lose this war.

I believe that Game 3 will belong to the Marlins, this time. Think about it. After losing Game 2, those guys are now loooking for payback. > And guess where this next game will be.......give up?.......it's here in Miami, Florida. Since Florida loves the Marlins (and not the Cubs), our team will be recieving a ton of motivation from the crowd.

BTW, I heard that there are 7 games for this series. And whoever wins 4 out of 7 games moves on to the Championship. Is this true? Or is it really just 5 games for this series?

I don't know how much the tickets are, here in Miami. It's been a long time since I last visited a baseball stadium (or any other stadium).

Anyways, the next game will take place at the Joe Roby Stadium (if I spelled it right). I guess it's going to be on the same hour as always.

As for Sammy, sure, he's REEE-Hehehehehe-eeeaaalllyyyyy good at making homers. However, you must remember, that the Marlins love to make you suffer at the last possible moments of the game.

They may have lost Game 2, but they didn't lose it because they sucked (they don't). They lost it because it's just part of life. You win, then lose, then win, then  lose, and it goes on.

The Marlins will win Game 3, not because that they are back to their state, but because they want revenge after losing Game 2.  >

Sorry, I'm still looking for a job. Maybe I'll work at Toys 'R' Us since it's that time of the year again.

Last night the Yankees evened the series at one game each by defeating the Red Sox 6-2.

Woohoo!  Man, if this keeps up I'm going to buy stock in Digitalis!  This game came right down literally that last play!  Man,  I was cussing when he almost dropped that ball.   Now, where is Katahu?
