I for one did not like it at first, however recently it has been growing on me. I am not overly fond of eyebrow turn signals or the tail light humps, but the rest of the cars design is fresh and new.

Where mercedes was beating BMW in the looks department, I think BMW has turned the tides and created a breath of fresh air in the design cues making Mercedes a fairly boring looking car.

Still to this day though, my favorite BMW is the 1988 BMW M6. Back in its day it was one helluva coupe.

Cheers to Beemer for growing the ****s to try a new design

in what way or which car?Smiley
the Z4 is a huge improvement on the Z3, and the look of it is great, looks like a rhino but with the true power to back it up:)
the new 5 series that is coming out is horrible, absolutly unbelievably horrible. my old boss always buys the new BMW and i seriously hope he didnt get this one, i know hes bought a new one, but hopefully the 3 Series, although why these people spend £30,000 every year on a car is unbeknownst to me, i wouldnt buy a BMW anyway  but still:)

I was'nt convinced by the new 7 - then I travelled in one!  8)

As for the new (e60) 5 series, I defy anybody to not drive the new 530D and not be utterly impressed by the performance..... and its a diesel!

The new 5 doesn't have the same class than the new 7, according to me.

My boss drives a new 530 i. Great on the insiden what an engine, but the outside? Plus his electric system failed only three weeks after delivery, making the windsheeldwipers go up and down, car unale to be locked, engine didn't start nomore, ...

But hey, maybe i am just jalouse!  Grin

i saw a 545 on the street yesterday looked good. Very agressive styling almost to agressive (maybe not for the 05 M5; it has 500+ bhp!)
