Aircraft Trouble

I have some aircraft with "reflective" (shiny) textures:
JSF, Eurofighter, etc.

but when I browse through my aircraft there is no shinyness, reflections, etc.
even when I fly them...

Plz help!

Which graphics card are you using? Maybe it doesn't support reflective textures.

The reflective textures do sometimes work - and its a mother of a card anyway!

There is a setting in the display settings menu that gives you reflective aircraft, make sure this is turned on.

thats on anyway.

example- DSB Design's USAF Eurofighter is totally reflective (apart from markings) but instead, in the game the reflective texture is replaced by white, with decals/markings intact.

Hi You need a file called gf4mxdsp.zip
if you cant find it try here about 1/2 way down the page

http://www.fscorner.com/database2002-2/05-11-2002.htm

this fixes a bug with fs2002 and mx video cards
which stops the refections some of the time (if you alt tab out of the game it will work for a while)
Hope this helps
