If you use a download accelerator to unzip files, some sites will not allow you to use the accelerator as it corrupts their files.
If you use a accelerator and wonder why the files won't download that is why.
I don't know how to enable the accelerator to use the normal zip downloder
Maybe someone knows how to do that

Wink

I'm not familiar with any program by the name of, "Download Accelerator."  But it is worth mentioning that WinZip is the recommended program for opening .zip files.  It can be downloaded for free. Smiley

Thanks for that EMH8
Just thought that I would mention it,in case anyone else had a problem downloading files.
You can find the program at www.freedownloadscenter.com
Do a search for Download Accelerator
Some products are shareware some are freeware
Might be a site worth a visit

I've used Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) for years. http://www.speedbit.com/DAPDL.asp?
It's very useful on my 56k connection. I've never tried the auto-extract feature as I prefer WinZip for unzipping/zipping all files. http://www.winzip.com/ddchomea.htm

I always right click on the zipped file and select extract all.  It works for me.

I use Getright, and I rarely if ever get a corrupted file while using it.

I assume you use WinXP which comes with an unzipper utility. Win98Hagar don't have this feature & you need WinZip or similar to extract zipfiles. From what I'm told, the right-click WinZip options work in much the same way.
