Cessna519NH,

I use a Logitech Wingman Extreme FF stick.  it has twist rudder.  It has worked fine for me.  I had the same on on anotehr machine before this one..... and it too worked fine.

You might jsut get (or build) a set of rudder pedals.  One option is a set of the CH products Pro Pedals.  Unfortunately thay will run you a little over $100.

Also...... if you look in the "General" section undr the topic "Homebrew Cockpits" there is some info on a simple way to build a set of rudder pedals out of an old joystick (and get a few extra button functions too).

best,

Isn't the X-45 the latest version of the X-36 combo? Personally, I loved the rudder control on the throttle. Best joystick I ever had.

Yeah, I love the rudder set up on the trottle.  It's much better than useing the keyboard like I used to.

I assume the X-45 is similar to the X-36. It certainly looks like it. http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/prod/x45.htm
The rudder on my X-36 is controlled by a rocker switch on the back of the throttle lever.
