I found this B-2 Stealth Bomber here a couple of days ago. Great model but I would have prefered sharper and darker textures. Take a look for yourself. These were shot over the Navada deserts. Shots were taken in FS2004.

Yeah, I've got that plane. The textures are a bit dodgy, and as you said, they are not as black as I think they would be in real life. Still quite a nice model though.

Nice shots by the way  Wink

AFAIk they repainted the stealth fleet in a less dark color after 1991.
They were restricted to moonless nights before they repainted, which wasn't that much a problem above europe (weather) but can give problems when flying around in countries with much clearer skies (middle east)

The reflections are totally bull$hit... with the process used on the B2 it won't reflect, even when wet.

That's right, Ivan. I've been hearing about the reflecive textures on this plane, and how unrealistic they are. I am not particulary keen on this plane myself, so I wouldn't know.

Well there ya go - some do and some don't (as usual!)

Thanks for the shots - interesting.....

And thanks to the modelmaker, whoever you are. It's good to know that people are making models that are a bit out of the ordinary - means more choice and something for everybody  Wink

yes, well said Roger, thanx to Roger, the modelmaker!  Grin here's his site: http://www.rogernet.it/fsim/military/

he did a great job with the plane! it's far from perfect (like the textures) but i'm very glad at least someone wanted to make a B-2...my favo plane. i'm sure he'll make an update of it, so if you have comments or suggestions, please give them to him so he can improve his next version... Wink
