Targeted Framerates slider (Read 105 times)

Should I slide it all the way to unlimited.At the moment I'm getting about 30 fps sec. with it on 60 targeted fps. I was wondering if it would help for it  to be on unlimited or set to a certian #
I'm running a
P4 1.7 Gig 256 ram ATI 7500

Hi Jon...
I think the general preference is to set the Target Framerate slider to match your highest frame rate for your system, eg: If your highest framerate is 30 FPS then that should be your target framerate setting for maximuim smoothness during the game.. Grin...!
Setting it any higher may result in stuttering as the program is trying to load in data in advance?

If you're getting 30 fps, I wouldn't bother messing with it, that's pretty good.

I've got mine locked at 60, I think...I usually average in the high 30s to mid 40s....but to be honest with you, it's been so long since I've touched it I really don't know for certain.  lol
