.... I have a plane and I think the canopy is too clear .... can this be darkened? ... I cant find a texture for it?

If the aircraft is FS2002 or newer, the canopy is part of the model, which is uneditable unless you get the source files from the author.

The answer to your question is that the canopy can't be edited.

Although you can add more reflection to it...you just have to darken the canopy in the Alpha channel..

The darker the color the more reflection you get...

Clarification:

Unless you have the source file to adjust the canopy part, you can't change an untextured part in a compiled model.
