I probably missed one somewhere, but I would really like to find a clipped wing version of the Spitefire for use in FS2K4.  I like to fly low, and watch the groud roll by.  Like Ozzy, maybe do a little hedge trimming, or is that hopping. Roll Eyes  Hope there is some help out there.

A MkII has just been released for 2k4 (its in vintage downloads), but that is the only Spit. for 2k4 so far.
We have a couple of 2k2 ones here that should work in 2k4, and there is a nice Belgian one over at flightsim.com by Paul Rebuffat, its the only clip-wing model I know of that might be compatible. You could try adding the CFS2 models to this list also........

Ozzy  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed  Sorry for posting on wrong forum, someday I'll get the hang of it.  I should have known; if Mitchell designed it, you could find it.  Thanks for the 411.

The best cliped wing Spit out there is Paul Rebuffat's LF MkXVIc, but it's a CFS2 aircraft. I fly it in 2K2 with no problems but don't have 2K4 so can't tell you if it works with that or not. Paul's site is down now, but most of his stuff is at Netwings and the outhouse. The LF MkIXe Ozzy metioned is a modification of this aircraft.

Fido - some of us are a bit off so, what the heck is "411"?  Is that the same as a QTH?

Hey  Felix/FFDS  Not sure of your location, in U.S (411) is the number you dial for information when using the telephone. Maybe only a few of us older folks use the term.  Sorry for the confusion.

                   Fido

 P.S.  What is QTH?

I used to use "123" for information - before the US numbering made its impact in PR.  And once I moved to the US, well, I now use anywho.com - faster and cheaper.

Thanks pal, took the photo myself.
If you like Paul's MkXVI, you may also want to check out his MkXII as this is also a clipped wing low level Spit and very nice it is too (I love Griffon Spits.)

HawkerTempest5  Haven't installed yet Roll Eyes, but dowloaded  both of Paul's Spits.  Will PM you when I find out if they work in FS2K4.

   Happy hunting    Fido  Smiley
