I'm looking for some scenery add-ons for the Gatlinburg Tn, area. Or the Great Smoky Mountains.
I'm taking my flight lessons out of Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge airport and I would like my scenery in 2004 to look a little more like the area I fly in .
It would help having some better visual references to fly by!
Thanks for your help as always!!

Wow! The only time I've heard of Gatlinburg apart from now, was the Johnny Cash song, 'A boy named Sue'!

Good luck with the scenery!

I was looking for Waffle House scenery but they changed to Omlete House now!! Do you know where I can find some?Smiley
I did find some scenery for the Smoky Mountains National Park made for FS 2002, but have trouble using it.
Actually Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge airport is located in Sevierville,TN. a short distance from Gatlinburg.
Of course anyone eho has ever been here would know that there is no way to have a airport in Gatlinburg since it is embedded in the mountains.
In FS9 if you depart runway 28 heading west look down on your climb out and you'll see the Waffle House!!
But those of you who have not been here it is a great little airport and a great place to meet the rich and famous, Most notable Dolly Parton (Dollywood is just a few miles away) Nascar drivers fly here twice a year before the Bristol race, and anyone else who might be doing a show in town. One of the greatest people I have met here at the airport would have to be Tim Conway!! That is the funniest man alive!
Also on site is the Tenneesee Museum of Aviation which contains a Warbird collection, must see it if you plan on coming in!! Nothing like flying your Cessna 150 coming in to land and be overtaken by a flock of T34's in formation, one of the prettiest sights I've ever seen!
