On behalf of the Dogpatch Crew I'm pleased to announce the release and develpoment of several new Korean War aircraft. Currently available for download are 5 Korean War F-51D Mustangs based on the default P-51D visual with a new cockpit, and weapons.

In development we have a F-86 Sabre, Mig-15, and a F-80C among many others that have not been announced yet. The Shooting Star is based on the default P-80 with new flight model, weapons, and of course textures. We have also been working on adding the Korean Pennisula but have hit a snag and ae waiting for MS to release the final Scenery SDK.

Our site is hosted by the Sim-Outhouse and can be found at www.sim-outhouse.com/~dakota93 Please keep in mind the site is under construction so you may encounter some dead links. Also the CFS2 section is not online yet.

Thanks, it's really begining to take shape, Ed has been hard at work on it for sometime now and it is far cry from what it was when the early Beta was circulating. Then to top it off Daniels textures are awesome, the screenshots do not do them justice.

Anyway here are a few more of our projects.

What we really need for CFS3 is some cold war action. How about making a CF-105 Arrow and a Tu Bear for battles over the pole.

The Mustangs are currenlty available for download, 5 of them right now and I'll be uploading a 6th one tonight. I'll also be uploaidng the DPC_AD-4 Skyraider in the next day or so. It's the same visual modl as the 1% AD-4 but with historicaly correct external loads for the Korean War instead of Vietnam.

As far at the jets, teh F-86 is in final flight model development, the F-80 is in the paintshop getting finished up and i'm making a new set of drop tanks for her, Misawa and new Lockheed type tanks, the default tanks are not correct. The Mig is currently under flight model development, and a new development on it, it WILL NOT be an AI only as previously stated and intended. Ed is in the process of making a cockpit for it, and then some tweaks and corrections to the visual as well as an appropriate xdp file. I'm not going to speculate on when they will be released but it should not be too much longer.

Just a quick update. We have the Sabre about 99% completed, just waiting on authorization to release the airfile since it was developed by hte AVHistory group with the newest version of their workbook. Currently we have 6 different standalone planes and many more in the works.

The Mig-15 is very close to done also. Ed has sent out a beta cockpit for her and it l;ooks awesome, and it is a joy to fly in.

Your more than welcome. You guys are putting together some great stuff for CFS2, I'm really enjoying both the campaigns. Once you guys are ready to move to CFS3 hopefully we will have the planes ready for you. Wink
