This Singapore Airlines 747 is ready to roll.

  ...

We slowly head towards the end of the runway.

  ...

It is a busy morning here at the Hong Kong International Airport as we make our final adjustments.

  ...

As the Soar Airlines 777 is about to land, we are next for departure.

  ...

The four engines begin to spool as we are cleared for take off.

  ...

The huge jet takes to the sky!

  ...

The 747 climbs away from Hong Kong's Airport airspace.

  ...

We start to clear the cloud line as we head towards the heavens.

  ...

The moon has not quite gone to sleep yet, maybe he was waiting to see the show!  Wink

  ...

Hope you liked!!

Is that the default 747 repainted or an addon 747 model.  Either way, where did you get it?

Richie, it is a repaint of the Mel Jet 747. I think I got it here a while back! If you can't find it,let me know and I will email it to you.

It's NOT a SiA BigTop, that's a 747-312. this is one of the 2 'Tropical Megatop' painted ones. the scheme disappeared soon after one of the two crashed.

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

Mega....Humungo.....Giganto....they are all the same. Thanks for "clearing" that up Ivan.  Tongue  Wink  Grin

I heard about that accident. Here it is:

Quote:
Singapore Airlines flight SQ006, daily service from Singapore-Taipei-Los Angeles, crashed on takeoff from Taipei's Chang Kai Shek International Airport at 23:18 local time. The weather in the area was poor, precipitated by a typhoon. Weather five minutes prior to the accident was reported as 69F/21C, pressure 29.59in./1002 hPa, wind from 020° at 37 knots, gusting to 56 knots, visibility 1/4 mile in heavy rain. Subsequent investigation of the accident confirmed that the flight crew mistakenly attempted takeoff on Runway 05R (9029x150ft), instead of the planned Runway 05L (12008x200ft). NOTAMs showed that, at the time of the accident, Runway 05R was closed for repairs, and that numerous pieces of construction equipment were parked on the runway. Approaching 140 knots, the 747 impacted the construction vehicles, breaking the fuselage into three parts and igniting a large post-crash fire that resulted in the deaths of 89 people.

Here is a photo of the accident:
