I could use some basic advice on the issue of having more than one video card running in the same base machine.

Can this be done.... utilising one AGP based card.... and another in a PCI slot (or two more)?  What are the possible issues?

I am assuming that the two (or three) cards will be from the same manufacturers and use the same drivers in general...... although obviously one would be AGP and the other PCI.  Plus one might be a 128 M card and abother a 64 M card.

My general idea is to have a central main monitor at the 12 oclock position running the forward view.  I then want to mount two other peripheral monitors at the 2 oclock and the 10 oclock view points utilizing those two view windows full screen.

I know that I can get a single AGP card that supports two monitors (my current one already supports one VGA and one TV out).  But I really want the three monitors.

I have heard that tehre are video cards that support three VGA monitors.  Any hints?  My guess isthat they probably cost as much as a new machine  Wink.

Any help appreciated.

best,

.................john
