Just press the icon of a disk on the FS Navigator toolbar and it'll bring up a save window.

Here is what I do when I want a special flight plan in FSNavigator:

1) You have to be on the FS Navigator page (f9)
2) Get the middle tab of the lower right hand window.
3) Go to the sid/star list.
4) find the originating airport's sid and drag it up to the top window.
5) go to the destination airport's star and drag it up to the top window under the first entry.
6) go to the menu and select the auto route command.
7) save your plan and go fly

Imagine...

Hi H'Bee,

Get Ready!!!!!

1) load FSNav, (F9)
2) Go to Plan, select  - New
3) Go to Aircraft and select the aircraft of your choice- If the aircraft your flying isn't in there, you can make your own by changing the setting to suit and give it a name- then save.
3) In the Top LEFT window, click the check box, and enter in you departing Airport ID (eg YSSY is for Sydney).
((You have to click on the word "input" to activate the search box))
A list of information is then described in the window. Pick which runway you will use and drag it over to the Top RIGHT window. There is the SID / STAR facility in FSNav, but I find most flights either online or offline, ATC won't let you stick to them.
4) REPEAT instruction 3) for the Arrival Airport.

So now you should have both the Departing and Arriving airports in the TOP RIGHT window. These are seperated by the Climb and descent markers...

5) Now you need to set the cruise Altitude and speed for your flight. To do this, click on the tool icon next to the plane in the toolbar, it brings up the enroute information. Input your desired hieght and Cruise Kias and press OK.
6) The very next tool Icon is the automated route selector, click on this and decide on wether you want to follow the High or Low routes ( Highway of the Sky) or to travel via NAVAIDS eg NDB,VOR etc.. - Press OK.

By now your whole flight plan has been made and is visible in detail in the TOP RIGHT WINDOW. Check the information to ensure that it's correct. (( Be careful as to the Descent V's Distance with FSNav, I find I have to fine tune the descent rates on nearly every flight, if not you arrive at your destination either too high or too fast!!))

7) Click the Plan button and press SAVE AS, nominate where you would like to put your plan/s and press OK.

Your Done

If you want to load your new flight plan into Flight Simulator's GPS, the you will need to do the following;
Go to Plan - EXPORT
Click on FS2002
Here you need to be sure that you allocate a gate to start at, if you select the Runway and you intending to fly the flight online, then ATC will be really PEEED OFF!!!
Give it a name and description Press OK

Now simply go to Flight planner in FS and click LOAD
Make sure your in the Map view, not the information view as sometimes it won't load.
Find your flight verify it's the right track and Altitude and press OK.

If you have any further problems, let us know.

Hope it helps
