Anyone know how I can do this? I wish to create a paintjob which advertises both my website and another which are both affiliated. it will be very graphical in terms of color and pictures and will cover the whole plane front to back.

couple detailed questions about this:
1) how much detail can I accomplish as far as the texture resolution?
2)will everyone else who plays multiplyer need this paintjob to see it? or will it show to them even if they dont have it?

1. if you use meljets 777 or opensky u should have no problem with resolution

2 yes they will have to have the aircraft and the livery installed on their comp to view that aircraft

Yes, Meljet's planes are great, but they tend to consume framerates at an unimaginable rate.  lol

Also, Daz, are you sure about the last part of your reply?  When I fly multi I'm able to see other people's planes, thanks to the CSL (Common Shapes Library) file...

wel, if the latter section of Daz's post is correct, I just wont do this then. the whol idea for this paintjob project was to create a one of a kind plane that advertised another site that I am a very big part of (mind you it has nothing to do whatsoever with FS). so, if they cant see the advertisement in multiplayer, then whats the use?

Yes - but that's because other people are using planes that trigger their counterpart in the CSL.  However, I remember one time I was in a little red fire truck and the end of a runway, watching all those little red fire trucks taxying, taking off and landing....
