i... got to fly a sf260 marchetti today Grin i work as ground support for an FBO at KPTK, and twice a year, a company called Air Combat hosts mock aerial combat.  one of thier customers cancelled so they had an extra seat available Grin Grin it was... how do you say Shocked? they take you up( the instructors take off and land wether you have a license or not, which i don't) and they let you fly, combat training Grin and some formation flying, which is, surprisingly more difficult than it looks.   Grin Grin Grin yes...i do have a perma-grin Grin. the marchetti is the most fun airplane to fly i have ever been in.   i want one Roll Eyes it was the most fun...ever,  even though my instructor asked me to let my opponent win 4 out of 6, because he is a paying customer and i'm just..., well i'm a kid who whoops @$$ 'cause i play alot of combat sim.  the other guy was pretty good though, he actually got me twice of his own doing, but then my instructor had me ease off his tail for the last two fights so he could come back around Wink. it's harder than you would think because all off those tight turns that start to shade your screen black, you actually feel in g's. try pulling them tighter when your brain feels like it's being squashed into your stomach.

Sounds great, wouldn't mind trying it myself 8)
Just have to wait till I (fingers crossed) get out of the RAF and then I can embarrass the instructors 8)
