Mike, take off from somewhere in North Carolina.  They're getting the brunt of the storm.  KCLT might be a good place.

Sounds like a lot of fun.  I'm just curious, what jet would be best for chasing a hurricane?

well i use a 737 - 500 thats been converted with high tek equipment and no colour scheme , ( sshh not really i`m preteding ) well sorta pretending it is a 737 with no colour scheme , but thats only because i can fly one with my eyes shut ,

anything will do really , try a tiger moth , i will certainly blow the cobwebs out Grin Grin Grin

Why use a jet at all?  Do it the way the pros do.  Take a C-130 or a P-3 Orion up! Wink
