.... its very good, it has a really well modelled and kitted out cockpit ..... would like to be able to do that to a few other planes just to finish them off ..... actually I can think of lots!

Have you tried changing the ATC values in the aircraft.cfg file??
MS have kindly added the words Avro and Vulcan to the list so ATC now calls you an Avro Vulcan!
Just make sure you have the following lines in it:
atc_type=AVRO
atc_model=VULCAN
