You know, this happened once to a guy a know.
Up in a glider, this 2 engined mohawk dives out of a cloud, sawing of 1/3rd of his wing. Luckily the aileron kept hanging from it's hinges, so he managed to make a safe landing, but it looked real ugly.
Turns out the guy in the mohawk was late for a fly-in, so never bothered to check the gliderpilot.
He went straight for his destination
. Never found him, despite many publications in local magazines.
The gliderguy is now only in the air in twin seaters, never alone anymore.
