I am trying to add an aircraft carrier into the pacific near Midway in CFS1
Can i move a carrier's location by editing the scasm code in the bgl file or do I have to start from scratch and build a new scenery.
If I have to start again can someone give me some help on creating a landable carrier - using either FSSC or Airport 2.95
Thanks

Sortie. It's possible you could change the location of existing CFS1 carrier by SCASM editing. I think it might be easier to create your own by importing a carrier API macro into Airport or FSSC. My own USS Essex was created from an FS98 carrier macro by Dan Geis. http://www.simviation.com/cfs1scenery8.htm

Dan's site is long gone but you might find something with a search of the major sites. You would need to give it a landable deck from within the design program. Unfortunately I no longer have the source file & forget how this is done. I also rescaled it x2 for use in CFS1.

Hi all
I've scratched my head some more over this and I've managed to figure out how to edit the SCASM code to locate a crrier anywhere in the World - Thanks to all anyway

There's a carrier macro from Dan Geis packaged with some other ships right here on this site.
