Hi fellow flyers
just downloaded and installed DH6 Twotter Long Nose Skybus by Barry Blaisdell - fantastic aeroplane and flies like a dream. But I have a problem with 'creeping' speed before taxiing - even with handbrake or foot brakes frimly on. Is there a way I can get round this problem. Been into the 2k2 devices file and altered Throttle setting but still the same. I don't get this 'creeping' speed with any other aircraft in my library. Anyone help please? I use a CH Yoke and Pro pedals.

Had a vacant moment before I realised what a Twotter was!
You can improve the brake effectiveness by editing the .air file. Use AirEd (on the downloads pages) and open the subdirectory in line 1101, primary aerodynamics. The last entry in the first section, 'misc' controls braking strength - a setting of about minus 5000 is normal for a small jet, so it should stop the Twotter!
Good luck.

A simple approach for those twins is go to your throttle quandrant and shift the idle levers from High Idle to Low Idle. Don't forget to return to High Idle for takeoff. After takeoff reduce it once again when your in the air and leave it there for landing.
White on White fly all night.&&&&Red on White you're alright.&&&&Red on Red you'll soon be dead.

TRY A QUICK TAP ON YOUR F1 KEY, AND THE ENGINES SHOULD SETTLE DOWN A BIT. THIS IS A PROBLEM I ENCOUNTER OCCASIONALLY. AFTER TAPPING THE KEY YOUR PLANE SHOULD HOLD SHORT. HAPPY FLYING!
