I don't watch it very often, but I'd much rather watch this type of racing than boring-ass Nascar.

I always say they should make Nascar more like professional wrestling, and have story lines and stuff, seeing as how they already talk smack about each other and punch each other in the noses and stuff when they get mad.
Then I might watch it.

maybe so, but at least pro wrestlers are real athletes, or most are:)and plus they are less of a bunch of money hungry pre-madonnas,
i really only like F1, but Indy cars are also pretty cool
but then again paz, cross over sports dont work to well, anyone remember the XFL?? should have been great, was it?????? NOPE:)

WHile my auto sport enthusiast days are over (basically, when the F1 cars started sporting wings and sundry appendages), I have never been one to warm to Indy/Cart/NASCAR etc round and round racing.  Mind you, not to say that they're not challenging and physically exhausting, but    ...  Maybe from a sports spectator's point of view it's more fun - at most venues you can see the complete track from where you sit, but ..  I guess it isn't as " attractive"  to me, as a good circuit run.

Always watch the Indy cars when they race in  Aussie, the support races have the V8 Supercars as well and that's a great weekends entertainment.

The Aussie F1 is a must. I was living in Adelaide when the F1 started-what a buzz! The place partied for a whole week.

I was working on Elevators at the time so I was in the city every day going from building to building doing service and repairs. Some of the buildings overlooked the track so there was an opportunity not missed there until the local SWAT team told us not go onto the roofs and the Police rang our office to tell our management not to send us out to those sites.

Pretty exciting stuff watching those things go down the main straight. Grin

I happened to catch the end of the Nascar race last night, and once again there was a near brawl following the race, that's the best part!
Maybe it's already more like WWE than I thought, I just don't pay that close attention, I'll have to be sure to tune in to the last minutes of the race every week and see who's going to whoop who in the pits.

They should allow cameras in the "big red truck" when these guys are getting spanked for their behaviour, now that would be interesting!

CHAMP/INDY they're all the same to me,I'm just impressed with anyone who has the mental and physical capabilities to handle that sort of machinery.

Yeah,Surfers is great stuff but as I said we have the V8 Supercars here which is Holden(GM)vFord and that is great tintop racing. Coming up soon is the Bathurst long distance race and that track is unbelievable. I don't know of any websites but have a look in Google for V8 Supercars Mt Panorama Bathurst.
