Hey everybody, I got up early today to head down to the St. Kitts Airport. I heard there were a few BWIA DC-10's that were going to take off this morning. I grabbed my camera and drove to the airport.

When I pulled into the parking lot, I heard the roar of the DC-10's engine as it was taking off!
I missed it,....I missed it!

...

I was alittle upset. I wondered around the parking lot only to hear another engine start to spool. I ran over to the fence line and saw this giant as it was getting ready to depart. I was excited because I had a really nice spot to get some good shots!

...

I ran around to the end of the runway as the jet prepared for take off. The sun was bright which provided some interesting shadows by the big jet!

...

I was startled by the airport police as they tapped me on the shoulder, "You are not allowed over here! Please leave at once"!
They escorted me back out to the parking lot. As I was upset that my photo opportunity was gone, I heard the rumble of the engines. I watched patiently with my camera fixed...
Just then she emerged from behind the landscape!

...

I ran as fast as I could and got this great shot as the big jet flew right over my head!

...

Hope you liked and comments are always welcomed!  Grin

Sweet shots!  8)
How did you get the different angles like that? Do you just use Active Camera and walk around?

I am not telling my secrets!!!!!  Wink  J/K
Very simple, Spot view and zoom out. You just need some interesting scenery and a good point of perspective!
