I was even wondering if that was an A-36 Apache, ??? what, with the rocket tubes and bombs
, it looks like its loaded for ground attack, more than aerial combat ?...

Richie is right, that is a 51B, all Ds have a bubble canopy. Well spotted Richie

There is also a nice Gmax Reno package that works great in 2004. Here is one of the paint schemes
It's actually listed here under 2004 props on the first page
If there is an airshow with in 2 states of me I'm there&&

Fine. Crap all over my picture.
That's what it said on the planes list in CFS 3. P-51D "Berlin Express".
Thanks for the comments, guys. GrabClipSave really helps.

Nice pic man. A-36 never sereved in the ETO, and I believe it had an Allison engine, and not a Merlin.

No thats a actually a P-51C
Note the difference in canopies. The one on the top is a P-51B and the one on the bottom is a P-51C.
Here's a better pic of a P-51B

No, the B could be fitted with the Malcom Hood canopy. The B and C were basicly the same, just made in different factories, I believe.

That canopy was only used a few times on the British versions if I remember correctly, but it wasn't the only one they used...
