I can't see any of the ATC menu options. When the ATC window opens I get a white bar at the top of the screen but there is no text in it. If I hit 1 or 2 on the keyboard it will send a message to ATC, but it is a matter of luck whether it is the right one. I can see ATC messages in the ATC window. When I don't\can't acknowledge ATC requests they start shouting at me and I crash with the fright!
Cheers

Hi Kev...!
What happens when you press the "Apostrophie" key, (the same key as the "@" key)...?
An ATC window should appear in the centre of your screen...?
Yes/No...?
Cheers ...

Hi
Thanks for your response. The ATC window does open when I press ' and I do see the text of messages from ATC. My problem is that for example, ATC gives me clearance to take off and I presume I should then see a menu with items like: 1 Acknowledge, 2 Say again. If I press a number (usually 2 or 3) on my keyboard it will send a response to ATC, but it is only pot-luck if it is actually what I want to say!
Cheers
Kevin

Thanks; I think I'll hang on and see if there are any more suggestions before re-installing (I did it twice to try and get my 747 working!).

Hi Kev...
Remember you can only respond to the fixed, default ATC messages in the program..
You can't pick and choose other messages which don't exist..
...!
Cheers mate...!

Hi Paul
Thanks for your message: shouldn't I be able to see a menu on the screen listing the ATC messages with numbers against them? e.g.
1. Acknowledge
2. Say again
I could then press 2 on the keyboard and it would send the Say Again message to ATC?
Cheers

hey kevlon whats up i had a similar problem due to a crappy on board video card, you may want to update your video drivers, and try choosing "open ATC window auto". if this doesnt work call the microsoft support number, this is unfortunatly a long distance call but proved to be worth it for me. hope this is helpful info feel free to email me robertsms33@yahoo.com

Hi Kev...
...!
Yes...
Pressing the " ' " key should bring up a semi-transparent window with the ATC numbered responses on it.
...also as PCPilot mentioned, select "Open ATC window auto".
This will atomatically open the window whenever a response is required.. 8)...!
It may help if you give us full details of your graphics card..
...!
Cheers Kev.
