well in what was an unusual turn of events, i found out the hard way i am getting fat:)
sat back in my chair not really hard but still the entire thing snapped in half(its a plastic chair)meaning i cant rest back on it. i decided to weigh myself havent done in a while came out at 170lbs, which generally isnt heavy but for someone who usually comes in at 145 to 150, i think i put on a bit of weight:)

LOL. My uncle has a really steep driveway with grass right at the foot of it. He also has a rolling office chair that we dubbed 'The Hot Seat'. What would happen is someone would sit in the chair and roll down the hill and wreck out in the grass at the bottom. (I know this is incredibly stupid, but it was fun.) Anyway, once, I was in the hotseat and I rolled down the hill. I wrecked out and the chair rolled over my body and one of the wooden legs his my head very hard. For weeks afterwards I had this huge knot on my head, and was later stupid enough to attempt the same feat except while riding in a shopping cart...

Look at the bright side, atleast you learned from your mistake of using a chair

Craig. It seems to me me that you're a tad accident-prone. I have a friend who is a walking disaster area -he's always covered in sticking plaster & bandages. At least it was only the chair that got broken this time. LOL

Flippin' 'eck Craig...
What's with all this "Lbs", "pounds" buisness...
I've just got my trusty calculator out and it comes to just over 12 stone.
No problemo for your height...!
I weigh just under 12 stones, (before dins and vino), and I am 5 feet, around 7 inches in height, when pulling my tummy in and standing up really, REALLY straight...
...!
I don't think I am overweight for my height and age, (God. Did I mention AGE again...)...
...!
My 'puter chair is in quite good condition 'cos I keep it regularly maintained and oiled, and I know if it collapsed I would die underneath it...
...!
So...
Be happy with the weight that you are...
...!
(I am...)...
...!
Cheers Craig...!
Paul.

LOL:) but fozzer, as i said i usually come in at 10 stone(to save your calculator batteries:)) for me to gain 2 stone out of no where and not look much bigger kind of a shock there:) i dont really consider myself to heavy though, i have been told by my doctor i could do with being around 14 stone as i am 6'1 and a generally skinny body.
and hagar, your getting to know me a little to well:)

At least he didn't give it in kilos Foz. Then we would both have been up the creek. LOL
I can't think why they keep messing around with this stuff. I suspect it's all done to confuse us old fogies.

Well, since I've known you I can remember something about twisted vertebrae, a broken finger & a gammy leg. I must say that seems to be more than your fair share for one so young. I suggest a season ticket to the local A & E department would come in handy, like my accident-prone mate.
PS. I'm 6' 1" standing bolt upright in my socks, or was when I last looked. Probably shrunk a little due to my advancing years. I've been around 11 stone 6 for as long as I can remember.
PS. Didn't I see something in another thread about a broken nose? ???

indeed you did:) a few years back,
i have calmed down a little recently to save my poor body, but alot of the reason i am gettin hurt so easy is because i used to throw myself around when i was younger, to say i thought i was invincible would be an understatement:). and i dont need a season ticket to A&E, i have my own parking space
but i have def got to be more careful

But, the thing about being careful is that if you are
too
careful, you won't have any stories of ingonarance to tell your grandkids.
However, if you aren't careful enough, you won't remember any stories of ignorance!

Now I feel like I am growing a trunk and big flappy ears

ok once again:) i was worried about 170 because it came out of no where, the last time i weighed myself i was 145lbs. so a few weeks later to see i have put on 25lbs without even noticing it, was quite a surprise. Ideally i need to be about the same weight as you, although i am aiming for 225. and to give you some idea, this time last year i weighed in at less than 130lbs, i was always struggling to get to 140,

Craig, when I was very late 20s and looking at 30 coming on fast, I hit the weights to see if I could bench press 250 before I turned 30......I worked hard and my weight at that time was a steady 212-215 but with muscle weighing more than fat, I was more defined than I am now.......it was a good weight/height balance for what I saw in the mirror.........
......Oh yeh, I did get my personal challenge too.......
