Hey, here's a thought.

I'd like to be able to write a flight plan, and put it up on my VA site so that my pilots only have to click the flight number to download the entire flight plan, which can then be put into F$ and sent to ATC (either VATSIM or the ATC built into F$).

I can get the download part of it done, but I don't know how to write the flight plans themselves.

Can anyone tell me how to accomplish this?

Create A flight>>>Flight Planner>>>Select Route>>>>>Find>>>>>>>NavLog>>>>>Delete useless waypoints>>>>>>Click OK. It will ask you to save it. Save it and close FS. Go to where it was saved and get from there.

Hope it helps. Smiley

Really?  That's it?  Well I'll be...lol

That will make it even easier because I can do IFR, VFR, etc...very cool.

Thanks John!

wo wo wo tiger

Before u go and do that , stop a minute and think , it`s ok to do it the way mentioned above if you only fly off-line , fs dont care if your waypoints are out of date or inacurate

BUT if u use the same flight plan on-line it may well be useless , i have tried using fs flight plans on line and after i have sent them to ATC they come back with a re-routing which kinda leaves you a bit bewildered , especially if you are new

I would say DONT do the fs flight plan thing

How about using FSNavigator flight plans? They are the ones I always use for VATSIM. I create them in FSNav, save them as Squawkbox files, and then just send them like that.

I used the trial version of FSNav for a bit, and I thought it was a great program.  But I thought it was a tad overpriced.  It was hardly expensive, but I don't think it was worth what was being asked...
