Well, well, well. Just for a laugh I put the co-ordinates of Norwich into CFS2 Freeflight and I was astounded to discover that it is there. I had always imagined that M$ had only modelled the Pacific area. To see if they had bothered to model mountains I entered the co-ordinates of Kathmandu and was happy to find that they have....
This has opened up a whole world for me to play with.
I have put Norwich airport in already but the question that I have is about ground things like tanks. The default CFS2 tanks are american, how do I go about making some German units etc, I'm thinking about the Campaign in Italy and Malta etc and I need some pointers from anyone who may, for example, have been one of the authors of a fantastic Korean campaign......

Hi Will. I found a small library of British tanks here.

Greg Law's German tanks are posted on the GC site.

That should give you something to play with.
I can highly recommend Steve McClelland's CFSII Europe scenery. (Steve is the author of the Korean scenery included with our campaigns.) It was released in several parts & covers a much greater area than the CFS1 default Europe. It's terrain mesh & far more accurate than the CFS2 generic World. CFSII Europe release 2 - United Kingdom was done at my request.

It includes over 80 UK airports in their FS2000 locations. Not sure but it could well include Norwich.
Have fun.
PS. The GZR airfields are compatible with Steve's scenery.
