??? When you open the 1st cfs2 cd manualy (my comp>driver E) there are the usual "Setup" folder and stuff and then there is an unziped folder named "FS2000"
Of course i unziped it (hopping to find fs2000 files i could use in cfs2) but when it unzips it creates a folder called "CFS" inside, there are 3 more folders one named "GAUGES" contains...well, gauges, but it seems like their a mix of cfs and fs2000 gauges. The second folder is named "textures" and has all these interesting textures of ground vihicles and buildings from wwII (im guessing their from cfs) and the last folder named "Uires" contains textures for what seems like a prgram itself: it has buttons backgrouds ect.
Does anyone know what these folders are for, why their in the cfs2 folder... and i guess most importantly, Can i use these textures and other files in cfs2, and if so...how? I know its a lot to ask but i thanx you for sharing anything you might know about it that i dont.

I always assumed these are CFS1 & FS2000 default files. They would have been automatically extracted to their correct locations in CFS2 when you installed it.

PS. The gauges are there for use in 3rd party panels. The other files are most likely mission objects.
