Well after seeing the look in the eye of Wendy yesterday, how could I expect any less from her, than to arrange a flight for me, with the same pilot.........just look at what I got to up in though........Courtenay Local flight, max alt 10,500 and max speed 220 KIAS........I shot over 70 images in a little more than half an hour.....punching holes in clouds and terrain flying, then a quick buzz down Comox Lake at 200.......what a blast....last image was at shutdown........am I smiling ?

Pre-flight apprension ?....Nah, not with Hal. I think he has more tail-dragger exp at this field than almost everyone else combined........been flying for many, many yrs........
I only made one glaring error on this flight. I never had the video function enabled on my camera when he rolled it !.................

Strappin' in first and then.........
...

Here we go !
...

Headin for the mountains..........
...

10,500' and almost 190 Kts ground-track cruise........
...

Lookin out over the Pacific.......
...

Flying over the canyons was a blast !
...

Comox Glacier from 6000'........low cloud base prevented a good shot here.....
...

Comox Lake from 100' and 200 KIAS......
...

CFB Comox.........
...

Setting up for the circuit entry.......
...

Now this is what you call "short final"......
...

Post flight smiles........
...
The story was a short one, but I can only post so many images in one thread without getting on the toes of the boss here, so when the request came to me to show more of the trip, I did indeed gather a few more and show them off here............enjoy,...you know I did !
