I'm flying FS2k2 Pro with a Saitek X-45 HOTAS.

I've assigned my main brakes to a switch on the stick, as well as both left and right brakes.  (God Bless the Saitek X-45!)

I've moved both sliders to maximum repeat, but recently, the repeat isn't "sticking".  The result is that every time I have to apply brakes, I'm forced to repeatedly press the applicable button on the stick.

Anyone else have this happen, and if so, what's the fix?  I've tried a reinstall, no luck.  I've checked the assignments panel in F$, and the problem seems to be in F$ itself, not in the joystick.  (I'll set it, then go back and look, and it's not "sticking".)

Help!  My finger is getting sore!

Well, I'm almost at the point where I'm just going to set the parking break on final.  lol

Actually, I didn't even think to mention this in my original post, the period does the same thing.

It's a very recent (like last 2 weeks) change.  Up until then, I'd had no problems with it.  I've even reinstalled F$ in the hopes of getting it back.  Perhaps I didn't uninstall everything.  I'll screw with it again tonight.

Maybe thats the attitude you need to win races, not sure about air-racing though.

Thought you'd like to know.

What's the use of the 'repeat' slider in the settings page? I always wanted to know that.

I don't represent M$. Then why the name M$? Simple...I like what they make, especially FS!

Daz, nope, didn't try that.  I assigned the brakes to different buttons and all is well again.  lol
