Not an ordinary honeymoon... (Read 110 times)

you know...you are just married and of course you have to go on a honeymoon. you take a small, idyllic island in the Carribean...with a nice hotel and a beautiful beach in the shadow of a palm tree. but after a while you get bored: you've seen the whole island, the hotel is nice but... Roll Eyes and just as the weather, your wife isn't as sweet as you thought she was. and than...suddenly the following happens...

as i said: bad weather...but suddenly you hear something...
...

yep, it's a plane...it approaches..."honey, you take the camera?"
...

Shocked
...

...

...

the airport looks better than the hotel!
...

...

M$ warned you!
...

M$ made the scenery very very nice! even the gay bar is there...Dave?!  Wink

sorry, for those who don't know where this is...it's the famous Princess Juliana airport (TNCM) at St Maarten!  Wink

Great shots, nice story aswell. Grin

It's good looking at pictures of this airport in real photos, you can find quite a few at airliners.net, which im sure  most of you know.

Thats at TNCM about an hour flight from Puerto Rico.  At least I think thats the airport.  Very nice approach there.

no ILS...you have to do it manually. but you can set up a VOR approach with your Garmin GPS.  Wink
