John loved his Baron 58, and his round the world trip kept us all amused, so here are a few shots of Johns favourite plane, in my favourite paintjob. Please post shots of your 58s in memory of Tipster.
John, gone but not forgotten.

Mark

This morning I hopped in the baron for a memorial flight from my home airport Heathrow to Johns at Liverpool.
As i took this screenshot it reminded me of Johns picture in Leg 3 of his RTW trip where he is racing a heavy.

I'd love to post one. I just don't know how. Roll Eyes I have a whole bunch of screens of the 58 I took this morning, but I don't know how to post 'em. Oh, and I tried the tutorials, but I couldn't get it. (Sorry Ken and Pete.)

In short:

1)Make sure your pic is not bigger then 100kb's
2)Make sure its not bigger then 800 pixels
3)Click on the "Upload IMages" link at the top of this page and upload your pic. (make sure you see the "Upload Successful" message)

4)In your post click on the Icon at the top that says "Insert Image" (when you hold your mouse over it.)  This will insert this into your post...[ img]URL[/img ]

5)Replace the "URL" with http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/yourpic.jpg

6)Replace "yourpic.jpg" with the actual filename you uploaded. (it is case sensitive so make sure its exactly the same file name as what you uploaded).

As a practice I usually Preview my post first to make sure it worked.

Hope that helps as I would love to see some pics of the 58.

Okay, first, read ALL the sticky threads at the top of the forum!  This is an idiot answer, but worth putting down here anyway.  (You aren't the idiot, the answer is! Grin)

Second, try switching the *.jpg to *.JPG or vice-versa.

Make sure there are no spaces in the image line!

Make the image name completely unique.  Like asdflkrei.jpg  That will ensure that it doesn't get mixed up with any other image.  (If you change the name, re-upload it!)

Other than that, just make sure it is within 100k, 800x600 pixels and a *.jpg or *.jpeg image.

If you make sure all of these rules are observed, it ought to work.  If it doesn't, you're doing something different!
