What program do you open dds files with so you can edit noseart??

You need a program called DXTBMP, available here

http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/index.htm

This allows you to convert the dds files, export them to your chosen graphics prog and then put them back again!  I'm still getting to grips with all the wonderful things it can help you do in terms of repaints.
