  I often refer to her as my wife just because it's easy, I've brought up the subject of getting married a few times and I usually get "Why?" as a response.
When you look at the history of either one of our families, it's easy to understand why she might just want to leave well enough alone, she is probably afraid getting married would ruin our great relationship!

  Everyone on my families side has been divorced at least once, and everyone on her families side with the exception of her Mom and Dad has suffered the same relationship troubles.
