Hey all!  I was flying around Interlaken in FS2004, and noticed a lot of roads on the mountains.  I was thinking how great it would be to drive a Viper on those roads!  Will anyone be willing to make a Dodge Viper R/T-10 to go roaring through the mountains of FS2004 in? That would be great!

I would think a game like "Test Drive" or "Grand Theft Auto" would have what you're looking for.

Why not take a P-51 Mustang on those roads, and fly the turns at an altitude of abotu 15 feet? Wink

Great edit, Bob.&&&&&&Google it. &&&&www.google.com

Yeah, I figured someone would say something like that.  I used to have a Hummer for CFS1, and I always had a blast with it (climbing moutains and such).  And well, the roads are there in FS2004, why not use them?  Grin

Grin Yeah, i know how that goes.  So I take it no one is interested in making a Viper? That's too bad, it would be fun  Cry

One of Pete's servers has been down, but I think it;s back up now.  Maybe you should give it a shot again.

The main issue with cars in FS is that they 'slide' when turning.  This is due to the fact that you can't add power to the drivetrain; it has to come from a jet or piston engine.  So instead of a car with wheels that add power, you get an aircraft with no wings.

I've been attempting to create an airfile for Katahu's new Mercedes, but I don't want to put out something that doesn't work right.  I've tried so many variations that I can't remember what I have tried and haven't, but I've come to the conclusion that until M$ makes powered wheels available in FS, creating cars will just be an exercise in modelling.
