LOL...I'll be set, as my laptop is always plugged in with the EXTRA LONG battery charging...I can usually go about 12 hours on my laptop...it's an old 333Mhz thinkpad that I wouldn'tdream of running any newer version of Flight sim on, but it works great for school, homework, and the occassional report to the electric company when we lose power

The recent problems in the US & Canada make you realise just how much we rely on electricity these days. Everyone thought British inventor Trevor Baylis quite mad when he first proposed marketing a clockwork radio.
This was such a success he's now working on clockwork powered computers.

Same reason you need to call the phone company to hook your phoneline up?
Or how about going to an ISP's website to get internet access ???

You battery backup, or a laptop. Or if your like me, get a backup generator for the house. They do come in useful, especially where i live, California's bay area.
