I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

Hey...I've flown around in a cessna and I'm comfy with those but I am lost when I attempt to fly a 747 or a 737 so I need some help with that...any sites? And I got a de havilland dash and when I tried to adjust how much altitude and speed...all I saw was buttons to turn it off and off... ??? any help will be greatly appreciated...:p

Take a look at the built in manuals in FS2k2, there is lots of useful info there Wink

My advice:

Take the lessons (not the check rides, they suck) and don't move to a larger aircraft until you're comfortable in a smaller one...move up slowly and you'll be an expert in no time.

THat or just do the simple thing, take off in a 737 use the autothrottle to keep it at 200 knots, fly around, get used to it, approach the runway, set autothrottle at 140 knots, slow down, use full flaps, and fly like a cessna. Grin

That's kinda how I made the transition from little to big planes, I just kept taking off and landing over and over again until I got the hang of it, then I moved up to 747's and did the same thing.

Use the learjet first, sort of a step up, but not to difficult. Just do a few flights in that, then when you're ready for the step up to the 737 go for it.
To practise in it, I started at Meigs, you have plenty of room to take off in a 737. Then land at Chicago O'hare(i think its called that)...don't go much higher than 3,000ft, and try and keep the airspeed pretty low, it's good practise.

I'm not sure if it's still in the Civil Jets catagory, here, but I downloaded a LearJet 31, too long ago to remember, but it was by far the easiest biz jet to fly, IMHO.

Ya know, thinking about it, It might be in the FS98 section. But, it runs perfectly in my FS2K2 with the default Lear panel and sound aliased to it.

Great starter jet to learn with!
