First off, I'd like to thank Ozzy for helping me learn how to post my screens.  Thanks Ozzy!  Okay, I put all of Malinowski's beautiful P-47s in FS2k2, and they all work great.  I took off from my local airport, Columbia Co., in mid Feburary.

Sitting on the runway doing one last check, don't need anything going wrong on this first flight.
...

I barely got up before the end of the runway.  Not a good way to start out.
...

While climbing to altitude I realize that the plane flies beautiful.
...

At altitude I take the time to take a sweeping view of the Hudson Valley.
...

I notice I'd flown quite away from the airport, so I inverted and dove down to 2,000 to enter the pattern at 1,200.
...

On final for runway 3, I'm a little nervous.  It took nearly the hole runway to take off, I wondered how much it would take to land...
...

The moment of truth...
...

My wheels scream and smoke as they kiss the asfault.
...

Well I stopped with about 25% percent of the runway left, taxied to my hangar, and shut her down.  A good 20 minute first flight.

I too have all those superb P-47's in 2K2. Great plane, very nice shots.

did you try pushing down on the stick during take-off until the p-47 is facing horizontal that way the engine power is going in a more efficiant direction.

They were modeled for CFS2, I just drop 'em in 2k2.  They are on page 50 in the CFS2 WWII era planes section here at SimV.  There are also some great repaints on the following pages.  They came in packs of 3, and there kinda large.

Yes I did.  Just like it says in all the books.  Nose forward at 100, stick back at 115.
