Some Korean air combat with the super new Sea Fury.
...
Up on deck waiting for the mission.
...
Fuelled and loaded and ready to go.
...
Airborne!
...
Head to head with the enemy.
...
A close call.
...
The Mig overshoots...
...
...and now the hunter becomes the prey.
...
Taking the shot...
...
...and making the kill.
...
Safely home in time for tea!

Low Flying MiG-15... i think you cheated a bit  Grin as they used to hang around at 40.000 ft and more, comfortably out of reach for the F8(or however that USAF jet is called)

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

No cheating involved! If the AI wants to come down and dogfight, I'm not going to argue with him Wink

What AI model is in that thing... they never got that low because they didn't had the advantage of their high ceiling there

I'm sure it's just the way CFS2 works. It was designed as a WW2 air combat sim after all and was not really designed with jet combat in mind. The Fury easily out dogfights the Mig at this altitude.
You are quite right though Ivan pal, no Mig would ever have come down and given up it's hight and speed advantage to get involved in a turning dogfight.

''They did, however, go up against the MiG-15 and the first kill of a MiG (which was made by a Sea Fury!) was made by Lt. Peter Carmichael of 802 NAS on August 9, 1952. Lt. Carmichael was flying from H.M.S. Ocean during this historic mission.''

Looks superb...will have to 'annoy mate with ADSL' so I can get my hands on the Sea Fury! Grin

It's an old CFS2 add on Ark Royal carrier. I used it because it's the only British carrier I have installed just now.
