Has anyone else had this? I have a chaintec nvidia Ti4600 video card and an ASUS SR7-8x motherboard running Windows XP.
I've downloaded the latest Nvidia detonator drivers and Directx 9.0b
If I run DxDiag on it there are no problems reported, however if you run the Directx 3d tests it passes the first set but the second set it failes on the DX7 spinning box logo thing.
I've only just taken this card out of a machine running 2000 so I don't know if the problem is the motherboard or the operating system. I'm going to be changing the OS to Windows 2000 and trying that soon but that's going to take a week or so.
Anyone any other ideas?

Actually, cancel that. I've managed to install 2000 on the machine last night (can you say insomnia) and it's now passing all the tests. Looks like it's an XP issue.

Well, ultimately the problem's solved so I'm happy now. Be interesting to see if it's just a one off though.

Cheers,
