WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IVAN?

The Ef HAS afterburners and damn good power its pretty much 1:1. I haven't seen any fighter take in as little space as the Ef. Its amazing it is swing role it can change from air superiority or air to air to air to ground in a matter of seconds it is amazingly aerobatic and it can also super cruise. Also its idiot proof thanks to its fly by wire and amazingly simple cockpit.

I have seen both the Ef and both the Su37 and Su27 granted they are nice planes and they can do things that the Ef can't but they aren't as advanced in the weapons systems or cockpit.

don't get so offensive.

Thats where your wrong mate the engine power of the Typhoon is 90Kn EACH where the Rafale is 120Kn TOTAL. When the Ef was tested against Sukhoi Super Flankers the kill ratio of Tyhpoons to Flankers was 4.5:1  meaning every typhoon shot down 4 and a half Flankers were downed. It was tested against practically all other operational fighters it was not bettered at all. The only other aircraft that bettered it was the F-22 which had about 4.7:1 which is not going to be operational for a long time yet while the typhoon is allready in the Operational Conversion Squadron. The Typhoon may be an old concept but so is the F-22 the Typhoon is going to be the most advanced operational fighter in a few years time and until the F-22 goes into service.

I love the shots of the YF-23. Number 4 is a thing of Beauty.

Typhoon RULES Tongue

Yep, Got to agree with crumbso, that YF-23 is far more of a looker than the fat bat F-22 (sorry...F/A-22!). Does it fly as good as it looks?

You're spot on..it's the DSB Tornado, it looks fantastic, pity Its not in 29(F) colours, but you can't have everything.... Grin

These Jets just keep getting better, thanks for the screnshots!

urrrrghhh no the F-22 is an ugly bloater its made out of triangles.

Although can't deny its useful in air to air combat but its only slightly better than the EF
